What Are Crimsafe Security Screens?
Crimsafe security screens are window screens made with Tensile-Tuff stainless steel mesh — the same 304 or 316 marine-grade mesh used in Crimsafe security doors. Unlike standard flyscreen mesh, Crimsafe mesh is woven from stainless steel wire and clamped into the aluminium frame using the patented Screw-Clamp system. This clamping method prevents the mesh being pushed out of the frame, which is the most common method of forced entry through standard window screens. Crimsafe security screens comply with AS 5039:2008 and are available for almost any window type.
