Every Crimsafe security door and screen we supply is custom manufactured to measure at our Newton SA factory. We do not sell off-the-shelf security doors. Australian Standards Compliance

All security doors and screens installed by Stan Bond are tested to the Australian Standard AS 5039:2008 (Security Screen Doors and Security Window Grilles). Where fire attenuation screens are installed, we ensure compliance with AS 3959-2009 (Construction of Buildings in Bushfire-prone Areas). Stan Bond provides compliance documentation on request for all security products.

Our Warranty Commitment

All Crimsafe products installed by Stan Bond SA carry a 10-year structural warranty. Some Crimsafe product tiers carry extended warranties of 12 years (Classic and Regular) or 15 years (Ultimate and iQ). Warranty claims are handled directly by Stan Bond — your local authorised dealer — not through a national call centre.

Stan Bond SA installs three main product categories for Adelaide homes and businesses:

Crimsafe Security Screens and Doors: Available in Classic (10-year structural warranty), Regular (10-year warranty), and Ultimate (up to 15-year warranty) tiers. Each tier uses the same 304 stainless steel mesh and Tensile-Tuff clamping system — the tiers differ in mesh wire diameter and frame aluminium specification. Available in hinged, sliding, bifold, stacking, and french door configurations, as well as fixed and hinged window screens.

Diamond Grille Security Doors: Stan Bond SA installs diamond grille doors using 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh with extruded aluminium perimeter framing, tested to AS 5039:2008. The traditional diamond grille pattern suits heritage, period-style, and older Adelaide homes particularly well and is available at a lower price point than premium stainless steel mesh screens.

Crimsafe Fire Attenuation Screens: For properties with a formal Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) rating, fire attenuation screens are required under AS 3959-2009. Crimsafe fire attenuation screens have been independently tested by CSIRO to reduce radiant heat flux by up to 59% and block airborne embers through their 1.5mm x 1.5mm stainless steel mesh aperture. Compliant for BAL-12.5, BAL-29, and BAL-40 rated properties on windows, hinged doors, sliding doors, bifold doors, and stacking doors.
